Dropped by Life

Hidden Treasures Ministries
Sometimes the situations that we face life leaves us feeling like we are unable to move forward.

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, Some of us feel like we have been crippled by life and we are unable to move forward. We are going from a place of falling to a place of walking in exceeding joy. Examples Mephibosheth was dropped Lame man was from birth 1. Mephibosheth 2Sa 4:4 And Jonathan, Saul's son, had a son that was lame of his feet. He was five years old when the tidings came of Saul and Jonathan out of Jezreel, and his nurse took him up, and fled: and it came to pass, as she made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. And his name was Mephibosheth. Definitions of name – Out of my mouth proceeds reproach (to blame, disgrace) – Exterminator of shame 2Sa 9:6 Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant! 2Sa 9:7 And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually. He was born into royalty, but forgot who he was because of life. 2Sa 9:8 And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am? We see a wrong mindset 2Sa 9:9 ¶ Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house. 2Sa 9:10 Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants. The natural things were restored to him. 2Sa 9:11 Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons. The king restored Mephibosheth to his rightful place. Jesus brings us to His banquet table where His banner over us is love. 2. The lame man Ac 3:1 ¶ Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. Ac 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; He was looking for natural things and the programs of man to be his answer. Ac 3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. Ac 3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. We must change what we are focusing on. Ac 3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. Ac 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. The name of Jesus was his answer Ac 3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Ac 3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. He was now able to go into the temple where the presence of God dwells. He had exceeding joy — walking, leaping and praising God.
